Splitcoast TSC0831

The challenge this week for the TSC on SCS was given by Lesley - to make an all white card with gold and lace.  I didn't put lace per se on my card, but, rather, used by EF that resembles lace.

Card Recipe:

Stamp:  Tree Greetings by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.
Paper:  MFP White Heavy Premium 140 lb. CS
Ink:  Versamark
Accessories:  Sizzix EF; Ranger Fine Gold Embossing Powder

We here in Illinois are anxiously awaiting the rain they keep predicting from the aftermath of Hurricane Isaac.  The weather stations keep saying we will be getting 3-9 inches of rain over the week-end - but, as yet, just a few sprinkles have arrived!

While the rain will not be much help for the corn crop - which is being harvested currently - it would certainly help the wildlife and trees, etc.  Keep your fingers crossed!!

Thanks for stopping by - later gator!

  1. Love this beautiful card. I like that embossing folder and how clever to use it for your lace.

Hope you got the much needed rain. We got a 1/4 of an inch down our way.

    Have a great weekend.

  3. CAS and ELEGANT KATHY! I hope you got some of the rain, we saw the clouds passing thru to our south - of course we got nothing out of it but wind!
